- 7 large carrots (rainbow if available) sliced thinly
- 1 bunch of the greens of the carrots
- 7 celery stalks sliced thinly
- 1 large red onion sliced thinly
- 4 cloves of garlic diced
- 6 cup dry split peas (soak overnight in water and rinse)
- 1 tbsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tbsp Italian Seasonings
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp Anise
Slice all vegetables and garlic.
Add all ingredients into a crock-pot.
Add filtered water to 3/4 of the crock-pot.
Set to low (8-10-hours)
