- 9 cup fresh peaches
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tsp local honey
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
Slice peaches open and remove the pit. It is optional to peel the skin. I left mine on.
Place 9-cups of peaches in a blender.
Add in lemon juice, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
You can always add more flavor so I suggest starting with 3 teaspoons of each.
Pulse to your desired consistency.
Place in a large bowl and simmer on the stove-top for at least 75-minutes and until sauce thickens.
Stir frequently and adjust the flavors to your preference. Cook to desired level of thickness.
Serve warm, can in a mason jar, or place in a seal-tight lid and enjoy within 2-weeks.
As you can see, I like some texture to my peach butter, if you want it completely smooth blend it to smoothness. Either way, it is delicious! Enjoy!!
