Taking care of your gut health is more than just a trend—it’s a lifelong investment. Your gut plays a crucial role in absorbing nutrients, balancing hormones, and maintaining energy levels. Without proper gut health, even the healthiest diet can fall short.
Include Fiber-Rich Foods
Fiber is essential for maintaining a healthy gut. This summer, incorporate seasonal vegetables like leafy greens, zucchini, and bell peppers into your meals. These foods are rich in fiber, which supports healthy digestion and feeds beneficial gut bacteria. Try adding a colorful salad to your lunch or roasting some veggies for dinner.
Enjoy Fermented Foods
Fermented foods are a powerhouse for gut health. Adding plant-based yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, or kombucha to your diet can enhance the diversity of your gut microbiome.
