Cellular Micronutrient Test
Are your cells getting the nourishment that they need?
It is common to receive enough macronutrients from protein, fats, and carbohydrates from the diet, but a deficiency in micronutrients is more common.
There are almost 30 vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that your body cannot manufacture in sufficient amounts on its own. These are known as essential micronutrients.
Micronutrients are the driving force behind producing energy and manufacturing enzymes, hormones, neurotransmitters, and proteins. An insufficiency of any of the nutrients involved can contribute to a disruption in cell metabolism.
There is not a one-size-fits-all plan for nutrient intake. Everyone has unique nutrient needs.
Assessing nutrient status is key to understanding your ideal dietary intake.
Cellular Micronutrient Testing is a simple blood draw that assesses the reflection of long-term (over 6 months) micronutrient status and its impact on cellular function.

How does Micronutrient Testing work?
When your body has an infection, it increases the production of the T and B lymphocytes that combat that specific invader. The faster these cells reproduce the faster infection is overcome. The ability of these cells to multiply is driven by our nutrient stores. Your cells need nutrients to grow and multiply.
Cellular Micronutrient Testing measures the effect of micronutrients on the ability of T and B lymphocytes to reproduce when stimulated with a mitogen. A mitogen is an agent that causes mitosis or cell division. Learn more about the test here.
