Detox on the Equinox – A Nutrition and Yoga Workshop
at Surya Yoga Studio, September 23rd, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
As we leave the fiery summer behind, we begin to welcome the cooling and calming energy of Autumn. This workshop is a time devoted to setting up our internal space in preparation for the season of fall.
Join Master Nutrition Therapist, Health Coach, and Yoga Teacher, Jessica Lee Reader, for an evening dedicated to your wellness. Connect to your body, mind, and spirit while discovering nurturing seasonal foods, lifestyle practices, and yoga postures to cleanse and reset your energy for the cooler months.
The evening will begin with a group coaching discussion led by Jessica surrounding resetting your well-being via nutrition and lifestyle practices to prepare your body for autumn. Then she will guide you through a cleansing yoga class to help create the mind/body awareness needed to truly detox and go within, ending with yoga nidra and guided meditation to help you release old habits and create new patterns.
Participants will get access to a downloadable seasonal nutrition and lifestyle guide created by Jessica with her favorite tips for autumn well-being and a beautiful collection of her top nourishing fall recipes.
Cost: $30 per participant. Must be at least 18 years old to attend the event, or with a guardian.
Address and Parking: Surya Yoga Studio – 414 W Fernwood Dr, Simpsonville, SC, 29681. If the parking lot is full at Surya you can park at CVS directly across the road.
Arrival time: Please arrive by 5:15 pm so you can settle into your mat space and prepare for the workshop to begin at 5:30 pm.
What to wear and bring: Please bring your own mat, water bottle, and something to write with if you want to take notes. You will want to wear comfortable clothes that you can move in.
Cancellation policy and weather: Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the event for a full refund.
