What is a Master Nutrition Therapist?

I’m a Certified Master Nutrition Therapist with 15 years of being in professional practice. I’m a graduate of Nutrition Therapy Institute (NTI), where I went on to become an Instructor for over 6 years.

I’ve completed a 500 hour, 18-month certification program and have gained mastery in the knowledge, skills, and competency necessary to be a holistic nutrition professional. I use my knowledge in nutrition science for a holistic, whole-body approach to address client wellness goals with food, supplementation, and lifestyle recommendations. My primary role is to educate and provide resources. I do not use my education or expertise to prescribe, diagnose, prevent, heal, or cure any malady or disease. 

Is there a specific dietary approach you use?

There is not a specific “one-size-fits-all diet” for everyone. Each meal plan is carefully created based on your unique needs, goals, and preferences. You’ll eat nutrient-rich whole foods throughout the day to support your metabolism, energy, mental clarity, and mood. Depending on your goals you may eat a plant-based diet and include animal protein if desired.

You’ll receive meal plans, recipes, grocery shopping lists, and resources. You can mix and match ideas, follow the menu plans, choose grab-and-go options, or prepare simple recipes. With the variety of options, you will find what suits your preferences and time capacity.

How much weight can I expect to lose during the 3 month program?

Each person is unique and we all have different nutritional needs and desires. There is not a one size fits all rule with weight loss and there is no guarantee of the amount of weight that you will lose during the 3-month program. With that being said drastic weight loss usually leads to drastic weight gain.

The 3 Month Natural Weight Loss Program is focused on teaching you about your unique metabolism and healthy eating and lifestyle habits versus crash dieting. Throughout our time together you’ll receive customized nutrition education and resources that can become a new way of life.

Do I have to take supplements?

The nutrition programs incorporate whole foods and lifestyle habits to support your health and promote well-being.

During our time together I may explain specific nutrients or supplements that you can take to enhance your weight loss experience. These are discussed primarily for educational purposes and optional for you to take them. This is a Pressure-Free Zone.

Is fitness or yoga mandatory?

I will work with you to determine which physical activities might benefit your overall health and well-being. Are you required to practice yoga or exercise daily? The answer is no. Listen to your body and do what feels right for you.

Please consult with your doctor before you begin any new diet or exercise program. The information I provide is not intended to be medical advice. It offers general nutrition and lifestyle guidance to help support you on your well-being journey.

Are the programs refundable? What is the cancellation policy?

All services, packages, and programs are non-refundable and are to be paid upfront prior to services. This helps to keep you motivated and accountable to reach your goals.

  • 5 session packages are to be used within 120 days. They expire after that.
  • 3-month programs are to be used within 4-months of the initial purchase. They expire after that.

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy in place for paid services.

Canceling an appointment within 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee of the full cost of the appointment ($40 for a 30-minute session or $80 for a 1-hour session) or if it’s a package or program you can choose to lose out on the pre-paid appointment versus paying the cancellation fee.
