Healthy Lemon Garlic Hummus
Why purchase store-bought hummus when you can make yours with fresh and natural ingredients?
I am a firm believer in cooking with love. You may be asking what that means, it suggests that you pour your heart into what you are preparing. With the right frame of mind, we can accomplish anything. Instead of thinking, “I have to cook this” think “I Get to cook this!” It makes the world of difference in nurturing your body and state of mind.
This healthy lemon garlic hummus recipe can be modified according to your preferences in spices and flavor. I am a huge fan of tarragon and thyme in the Springtime. During my Spring cleanse program these spices are heavy hitters for supporting the liver and gallbladder. I find them to be refreshing and soothing to my taste buds. If you haven’t tried them yet, I suggest giving them a whirl. If you like them then you can grow them indoors or plant them in your garden. I will write more about gardening soon, in the meantime enjoy this lovely hummus recipe.
I used English cucumbers and my Vitality Pesto recipe. You decide which fresh vegetables you prefer that will go well with this simple and tasty recipe. Mix and match and have the time of your life!
Try it out and leave a comment telling me how you liked it. Enjoy!
